A thought

sometimes i think about the way things could have been.
where i could have gone to school,
what i could have studied,
where i could have traveled,
where i could have lived.

but i wonder if by doing those things,
i would wonder what i could have become,
just by doing what i have already.

I am the product of an amazing family of  strong, independent women.
This last week saw the passing of my great-grandmother Sills.
I am so honored to be her descendant and to have been so blessed by the lives she created and touched.
I am who I am because of the women she raised, and for that I am so grateful.
Thank you.

Warby Parker Glasses=Amazing

So I finally ordered my glasses from Warby Parker ($95 for everything!) and I called today to check on the status even though they aren't due to arrive until next week. They were so nice and reassured me we were on schedule.
Here are my soon to be glasses!

Then I received this email:

Hey Tiffany,

After we got off the phone I double checked on your order, because you were so excited! It turns out that they have already shipped! They are scheduled to be delivered to you on the 27th and the UPS tracking number is 1ZA0285E0340049908.
Let me know if I can help with anything else.

Best,

Are you kidding me?!
Customer for life.

What is for you will not pass you by.

What is for you will not pass you by.
A wonderful quote from one of my favorite blogs and something I wish I knew when I was younger.
A lot of times I find myself focusing on what I should be doing, accomplishing, where I should be, I find that I exert a ton of energy trying to reach these goals that may not be for me. It's good to hear that if it is truly meant to happen it will, as long as I work hard enough at being the best version of me.
